Getting started
- Scan something. Photograph an item, or pick a photo you already have. You get an estimated resale range, how fast that kind of thing tends to sell, and where to list it.
- Check your buy price. The profit calculator works backwards from fees, postage and the return you want, so you know the most you can pay before you get to the till.
- Record what happens. Mark an item bought, then listed, then sold. Once you enter the sale price, the app runs it through that platform’s real fee model to show what you actually made.
What the numbers mean
Quick sale vs patient
The low end is roughly what it takes to move something this week; the high end is what it fetches if you can wait. The same item is worth two different amounts depending on how long you are willing to hold it.
Sell-through
Of the listings for this kind of item, roughly what share sell within 90 days. Low sell-through with a high price is the classic trap: the money looks good and the item never moves.
Where to sell it
Each marketplace is ranked by what you would actually take home after its own fees, which differ more than people expect — some charge commission on the postage the buyer paid, some don’t. Audience fit matters too, so the highest net figure is not always the recommendation.
Honest limits
Comparable sales are modeled, not live. No marketplace publishes its sold listings openly, so the comparables in the app show the shape of the market around an estimate rather than records of real sales. Use the per-platform links under Where to sell it to check actual sold listings before a large buy. Anything estimated is labelled as an estimate, and estimates never count towards your profit figures — only sales you record do.
Common questions
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and nothing to log into.
Where is my data?
On your device only. See the privacy page for the detail. It does not sync between your phone and your browser, and it is not backed up to us.
I cleared my browser data and my items are gone.
Unfortunately that is permanent — there is no copy on a server to restore from. That is the trade-off for holding nothing about you.
Does it work without signal?
Yes. Pricing falls back to running on the device, so the app keeps working in a basement with no reception. Results produced that way are labelled as estimates.
Why did it identify my item wrongly?
Pricing from a photograph is an estimate, not a valuation, and it is at its worst on unbranded items and poor lighting. Adding a note with the brand, size or a flaw materially improves the result. Always check the sold listings before a large buy.
How do I delete everything?
Settings → Clear all data. It is immediate and cannot be undone.
